I am seeking a full-time position as a Web and User Interface Designer with a company that is as passionate about good web design as I am. I would like to use the diverse skills and knowledge I have developed in my career to contribute to the long-term success of that organization.
I have superb design skills and solid experience applying them on a variety of projects. I love planning a thoughtful and easy-to-use user interface. I understand color theory and typography, and have a talent for creative problem solving and troubleshooting. I have excellent writing and editing skills. I work well with others and I'm a proactive self-starter. I have expert knowlege in all design-related programs including:

March 2011 to Present • Connect Marketing — Provo, Utah. Senior Graphic Designer. I work with internal account executives and the creative director to produce creative and innovative web and print design solutions for the firm's high-tech industry clients.
2006 to Present • Freelance Designer — Utah. I produce a variety of designs for both print and the web.
2006 to March 2011 • Intermountain Healthcare — St. George, Utah. Publications Manager. I was accountable for all the publications produced in Intermountain Healthcare's Southwest Region. I brought all publications through the entire process, from conceptualization to printed piece. I met with internal clients to help them determine the most successful way to communicate their message and helped freelance designers adhere to our branding guidelines.
2005 to 2006 • Boulevard Home Furnishings — St. George, Utah. Graphic Designer. My duties included designing newspaper ads, magazine ads, direct mail pieces, signs, banners and event displays. I was also involved in planning future advertising strategies and events as well as determining the most effective way to reach members of the local community with our advertising.
2003 to 2005 • Marketing Media Communication — Salt Lake City, Utah. Website and Graphic Designer. While working for this ad agency who specialized in medical product marketing, I was highly involved in the design, production and pre-press of artwork bound for print. I also participated in the design and development of multiple web sites, multimedia presentations and interactive CDs. In addition to these duties, I was responsible for the training of new employees.
